Just six weeks before graduation, Ryan Blakely White's earthly journey came to an unexpected end.
A Calling Becomes a Mission.
Ryan Blakely White had an abundant love for life, a caring heart, a gregarious nature, an infectious grin, and an unwavering willingness to openly share his faith. He was affectionately known as the “Pied Piper of lost souls.” His departure from this earth became the final match that flamed a calling into a mission.

A Letter We Never Expected
Sometimes the greatest measure of impact is not heard that day. It is heard years later.
“Your presentation has stayed with me ever since.”
Hailee Shell attended a Measured By Character assembly at Valley View High School. Six years after losing her brother, Jaysen, to suicide, she reached out because the message had remained with her through grief, trauma, and healing.
“If sharing my story could help even one person feel less alone or encourage someone to ask for help, then I would consider that an honor.”
The message reached her then. Years later, it was still there.
